Roles At Behavior Works

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

As a BCBA, you will oversee and design individualized ABA treatment plans for clients with autism and related needs. You’ll conduct assessments, analyze data, and provide hands-on supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). You’ll collaborate closely with families, schools, and community partners to promote optimal outcomes for each client. Your role includes regular training, coaching, and performance reviews with the clinical team, ensuring consistent high-quality care. BCBAs at Behavior Works are leaders—modeling best practices in compassionate, evidence-based therapy.

Behavior Technicain / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

RBTs work directly with clients, delivering one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in homes, schools, and community settings. You’ll collect and record behavioral data, implement treatment strategies as directed by your BCBA, and foster skill development in areas like communication, social interaction, and independence. You’ll assist in facilitating progress tracking, participate in team meetings, and maintain a positive, engaging environment for each child you serve. RBTs help clients celebrate milestones while supporting families throughout their journey.

Academic Tutor

Academic Tutors use ABA methods to support students’ learning in academics and executive functioning. You’ll tailor instruction based on each student’s needs, reinforce skill acquisition, and provide ongoing feedback to BCBAs and families. Your duties include lesson planning, assisting with homework or school projects, and helping children build confidence in their abilities. Tutors serve as an additional support for families navigating school-related challenges and work collaboratively with clinical staff.
